I call these my Anxiety Portraits. I started drawing self portraits at the beginning of the coronavirus lockdowns in California around March 15th. I just wanted to draw a face really bad and found mine to be the most accessible since it's attached to my head and all. I did around 8 portraits over a couple weeks. The process ended up being super cathartic and a great way to process the initial shock and fear at the beginning of the pandemic.
