“Forty-Six / Two”
This is one of a series of three self-portraits that I made to portray me now in these difficult times. It's complicated, to say the least, emotionally, as it comes from many different places of me. There was one undertone that I had in mind and wanted to keep as a present hum even as I iced my feelings onto photoshop: the idea of 46 and 2. This fantastic Tool song, and the meaning behind it, propelled my inspiration and helped concentrate it into the world of horror, grotesque imagery, the next stage of our humanity, and the inevitable unknown that comes with it. I think it turned out just creepy enough.
