This self-portrait shows how the emotional flow has lost consistency and speed, leaving life trapped in wakefulness. The daily actions that took place outside have ceased to be practiced; humans have returned to the inside of the house overcome by silence and restlessness. Meanwhile, nature has regained its inner energy, fanning bonds of communion with those who have failed to seek its existence. In this drawing I focus on giving an account of that generosity by incorporating color to warn about the presence of those animal and plant species with which we share the sense of community. Naked and captivated by the sound of a life that continues to happen is now my new condition.
